This was the first group work I did, I took on the designer role and I also 3D modelled the ship plus made all the partial effects for the scene. Initially we over scoped our idea, to reduce our scope one of our mentors recommended we made a diagram like the one below. This allowed us to see what mechanics were necessary so we could remove ones without breaking the core gameplay loop.
